Notary Services
I can notarize a variety of documents including real estate, financial agreements, estate planning, immigration, contracts and more.
Acknowledgements
Ensure that the signer of a document is who they claim to be and has voluntarily signed. Often needed for documents such as deeds, mortgages and deeds of trust.
Copy Certification
Confirm that a reproduction of an original document is an accurate transcription or reproduction. Documents requiring copy certification may include: diplomas, driver’s licenses, leases, contracts, vehicle titles, Social Security cards and medical records.
Jurats
For a signer to swear or affirm that the contents of a document are true. Depending on the jurisdiction, it also can be known as an affidavit or a verification on oath or affirmation.
Loan Signing
Deliver loan documents to borrowers, overseeing the signing, notarizing and returning to title and escrow companies.
Oaths/Affirmations
In some cases, a signer may simply need an oath or affirmation administered orally. The purpose of this is to compel a signer to truthfulness.
Fees
Notary Fees
Per signature: $15
Travel fee – $50+ (determined by location and time)
Additional Fees:
County jails – $200 minimum
Wait time – $15 if 15 minutes after scheduled appointment (plus $15 for each additional 15 minutes)
Loan Signing Fees
1st set of loan documents – $150-300
2nd set of loan documents (at same signing) – $75
Printing of e-docs (includes 2 sets) – $45
Faxbacks/Scanbacks – $25
After hours signing – TBD
